Heya! My name is Thea Sofie Myrbråten, and i am a 24 year old game designer whom graduated with a bachelor in Game Design at Kristiania University College. My interest in game design started after i played Undertale. I was fascinated to discover that the creator, Toby Fox, had made most of the game, art, music and story by himself, with little outside help. It made game design seem more approachable, as if it was something within reach. This piqued my interest, and from there i applied to study game design.

I consider myself to be a creative person. I love drawing, painting, sowing, embroidery, photography and more, and i am always eager to learn new skills. I mostly work with Procreate on my iPad, but i am currently taking a pixelart course, so i am learning how to better use Photoshop at the moment.

During my last year at Kristiania University College i had an internship at Perfectly Paranormal and worked with them on the game The Holy Gosh Darn. I worked as a UI Designer, and designed assets such at text bubbles, control icons and elements for the main menu. This is not released as of now, so i cannot show this yet.

I have played the flute in various marching and wind bands since second grade, and i am currently playing both flute and piccolo in Oppegård Janitsjar (OJ). I also have a position within the management of OJ where i help pick out the pieces for the concert programs, and take part in planning out our concerts.

I used to work part-time at Elkjøp Glasmagasinet, an electronics retail store, where i worked with service and customer support. After working there for a bit under three years, i have gained experience with customers, communication, teamwork, and problem solving. At the moment i am working full-time as customer support at Telia, where i communicate with customers over phone, chat and email to support them as best i can, and help them with whatever issues they may experiece.

I am always eager to meet and work with new people, so i am looking forward to see what lies ahead!
